Conflict. Sincerity is being obstructed. A cautious halt midway brings good fortune. Going through to the end brings misfortune.
Heaven and water go their opposite ways. The superior person carefully considers the beginning of all undertakings.
First (Bottom)
If one does not perpetuate the affair, there is a little gossip. In the end, good fortune.
Second
One cannot engage in conflict. Return home and retreat. For a community of three hundred, no blame.
Third
To nourish oneself on ancient virtue brings perseverance. Danger, but ultimate good fortune.
Fourth
One cannot engage in conflict. Turn back and submit to fate. Change attitude, and peace comes.
Fifth
To contend before a judge brings supreme good fortune. A fair arbiter resolves the dispute.
Sixth (Top)
One is granted a leather belt by the king, but by morning it is thrice taken away. Nothing endures from forced victory.
